Absolutely. Learned how to type in grade school before every home had a PC and remember wondering why do we even need this skill. Ha!
How is social media changing news?
It creates fear bc innocuous situations are torched via social media. 2) Sadly makes it easier for ppl to strictly hear just news they seek.

Muck Rack of course, HARO, Google Analytics
What's your favorite social network?
The big ones: Facebook and Twitter consumer most of my time. Lately I've enjoyed Pinterest more and more as its richness of content increases
Who do you wish followed you?
More active users. I have more than 6K followers but get very few reactions and comments to my Twitter posts.

Curiosity, passion, and try hard to avoid cynicism

Any time. Email inbox accepts emails 24/7 and I peruse it at my convenience.

Any pitch that includes SEO benefits for my client.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
At All News Radio KFWB we'd get pitched by firms who just wanted to make it onto our air w/ nary a consideration for newsworthiness.

Ice Blended Mocha. Really anything with a coffee flavor
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
With family, with my smartphone, on the freeway, and when possible, slaking my wanderlust thirst
