EDF has finalized the acquisition of GE Vernova's nuclear activities, thereby acquiring key competencies, including Arabelle Solutions, which strengthens the nuclear value chain alongside Framatome. This 100%-owned subsidiary of EDF will supply equipment for new nuclear power plants, as well as maintaining and upgrading equipment in existing plants. In particular, its steam turbines will power EPR, EPR2 (European Pressurized Reactor) and SMR (Small Modular Reactor) reactors.

Blue Solutions, a Bolloré Group entity, plans to develop and produce batteries for electric vehicles in Brittany and the Grand Est region, with a total investment of almost 2.2 billion euros. Blue Solutions aims to create almost 1,500 jobs by 2032. Ultimately, the gigafactory's annual capacity will be 25GWh, equivalent to 250,000 vehicles/year. Blue Solutions is currently the only company to manufacture solid lithium-metal batteries on an industrial scale.

Eiffage is targeting a market worth more than a billion euros in France by creating a joint venture between its subsidiary Eiffage Energie Systèmes and Entech. This new joint venture is aimed at the construction and operation-maintenance of battery-powered electricity storage units connected to the high-voltage grid. It will be 60% owned by Eiffage Energie Systèmes and 40% by Entech, and is due to be officially created within the next two to three months.
