Alyssa Conti’s Biography
Alyssa is a radio and web reporter for Pattison Media.
As a Sociology major, Alyssa worked a variety of jobs ranging from customer service and retail to call centers and data entry.
After five years of odd jobs and qualitative research, she realized she wanted to tell people's stories.
She then made the leap to a two-year Broadcasting diploma and honed her technical skills while telling community stories that mattered.
She interned and worked freelance for the Global News Radio 880/630 CHED (now 880 CHED) newsroom, and only a couple months after that contract ended, Alyssa was called in to work remotely for Fraser Valley Today and 102.9 Rewind Radio in Cranbrook.
With most of her job being work-from-home, Alyssa tries to spend her free time being everywhere but— whether that's at a mall and a friend's house, or at a museum and an art gallery.
