Recapping the Bazaarvoice Retailer Summit 2021
Honestly, if you didn’t attend the Bazaarvoice Retailer Summit 2021 you missed out. It’s not every day you have the chance to hear from multiple marketing and retail leaders. In the same place. At the same time. (At least not for free!) From our own CEO Keith Nealon to guest keynote speaker Sucharita Kodali, our speakers brought the (virtual) house down. But we get it. People are still playing post-lockdown catch up. Life is busy. So not everyone could tune in to the main event.

The best Mother’s Day marketing campaigns of the year
Mother’s Day is the time to honor Mom and all that she does. And, if there was ever a time to celebrate, it was this year. The pandemic cast a spotlight on just how much moms do and how they’ve stepped up recently to take on extra responsibilities. Your relationship with your mom may seem even more valuable and meaningful now, especially if you haven’t gotten to see her over the past year. Mother’s Day has long been a popular shopping holiday.

Best practices, Consumer data, COVID-19, Industry trends, Social media, User-generated content April 28, 2021 April 28, 2021 Share Nowadays, online shopping is more than just a hobby or pastime — it’s a way of life. You can buy everything online, from groceries to cars to the world’s smallest dancing Jesus. And as the pandemic has shut down stores and encouraged social distancing, consumers have been utilizing e-commerce at a rate like never before.
E-commerce has a discovery problem - Here’s how social commerce fixes it
Online shopping is a growing market, and a Bazaarvoice survey has the numbers to back it up: In 2017, 40% of consumers shopped online at least weekly, and that’s now increased to 60%. However, online consumers aren’t shopping the same way—or spending the same amount—that they do in retail stores. This is increasingly true as online shopping has evolved to now occur on social media too.

How to take your in-person field marketing strategy online
Over the past few months, shopping behavior has shifted. Many retailers are offering more curbside pickups, in-person events have been canceled for the foreseeable future, and more shoppers than ever are making the bulk of their purchases online. Business to consumer (B2C) brands, especially those in the food and beverage and health and beauty industries, have primarily relied on in-person engagements to drive trial, awareness, and demand for products.
Student Contribution: Native Identity, Tribal Sovereignty, and STEM
The 27th of May, 1949 was a momentous day for Louis “Speedy” Wiley, my grandfather. This was a day which would eventually lead him on an entirely different life path than he had originally intended. In the span of 24 hours, he would both witness the birth of his first son, Roger, and the death of his father, Mose Wiley. Life and loss, overlaid and intertwined. At the time, Speedy was a student at East Central University in Ada, and was taking a college algebra class.
