What was your first job as a journalist?
My first real job as a journalist was as a business and economics reporter for The Daily Reveille, the LSU campus paper.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I'm most likely to respond to pitches that show that the PR rep or source did their research on me and my beat. I love a personal touch!
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes, I did! I covered news around clubs and extracurricular activities, and wrote student and teacher features.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Somewhere outside! You can find me training for triathlons, hiking, or working out in some capacity.
