A. K. Carroll’s Biography
Originally from the cornfields of Nebraska, Amanda has spent most of her life wandering and wondering, often getting lost in the process. She is fascinated by the complexity of people and driven by a need to connect and a desire to understand. Amanda has written for Diablo, Saint Mary's, San Francisco and Napa Sonoma magazines, facilitated classes in memoir writing, and served as the Creative Non-Fiction Editor for MARY: A Journal of New Writing. She is a contributing writer for the Lamorinda Weekly, SF Weekly, Berkeleyside and sundry blogs.
