The Ida Institute has selected the awardees of this year’s Ida Research Grant. Three separate projects using Ida Telecare tools will be funded for work beginning September 2017. They are:Helping patients to make decisions about managing their hearing loss that are right for them, by David Maidment at the University of Nottingham. The project will look at whether patients who use Why Improve My Hearing? before coming to an NHS clinic have better outcomes than those who do not use the tool.
The median family income of a student from Yale is $192,600, and 69% come from the top 20 percent. About 2.1% of students at Yale came from a poor family but became a rich adult. A new study, based on millions of anonymous tax records, shows that some colleges are even more economically segregated than previously understood, while others are associated with income mobility.
