Polymer materials present a wide range of tunable biodegradation, mechanical properties, porosity, and surface-to-volume ratio. (1) These materials are used in applications to increase durability in solar cells through a cross-linking strategy in three-dimensional hyperbranched polymers. (2) Polymer scaffolds are utilized in cardiovascular operations, employing multiple polymer scaffolds to mimic the human myocardium and improve hydrophilicity and biodegradability.
