Minority schools forced to open door to RTE kids

In a relief to 236 students, seven Ahmedabad schools that claim minority status will admit them under the Right to Education (RTE) Act. The schools had initially denied admission to students under RTE claiming minority status. However, the Supreme Court recently directed that schools without minority certificate from the National Commission for Minority Educational Institute to give admission to students under RTE.
