Arangetram: Ananya Srinivasan Amrutha Ananth 09/08/2022 Arangetram: Ananya Srinivasan By Amrutha Ananth Ananya Srinivasan, a disciple of Acharya Soumya Rajaram of the Samskriti School of Dance, performed her Bharatanatyam Arangetram on August 13, 2022, at Lexington Christian Academy, MA.

Arangham Trust and Karthik Fine Arts brought out “Andal Andal”- an Anita Ratnam production at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Anita Ratnam and Pritha Ratnam extrapolated the essence of Andal with their tribute performance “Andal Andal” in memory of their mother Leela Ratnam. This performance repainted memories of the sisters dancing together on stage after Pritha’s 15 years break. The choreography which portrayed Andal’s totally immersed devotional love for God was brought out poetically in seven frames.

Sparsh is the annual fundraiser organised by Volunteer Services Organisation, Manipal University. A concert by Indian Ocean, the band that was nominated as MTV's Artists of the Month a few years back rounded off Sparsh 2012 last week, proving it to be a grand success. The band released their latest album “16/330 Khajoor Road” online for free. They are also a part of the world's first Music Personalisation Initiative named DRP (www.divineraaga.com) as one of the five ‘Featured Artists'.
