During the last couple weeks of cooler, wetter weather, I noticed several of the trees in our area are beginning to lose some leaves. Although it is still a bit early for trees to begin displaying fall colors, the sounds of leaves falling in the breeze makes me think about the impending fall season.For many reasons, fall is my favorite time of year.

Our foundation has been working hard over the last few years to raise funds to contribute to the new conservation center project. This year MCFEE is raising funds for the exhibit designs featured in Jim’s article at the top of this page. It is a very important year for MCFEE as they have set their sights on raising $16,000 to contribute to the cost of the interactive exhibits.Evening Under the Stars will take place on Sept.

September is almost here which means it is time to purchase your tickets for the Evening Under the Stars fundraiser. Evening Under the Stars is a special event hosted each year by Madison County Foundation for Environmental Education on behalf of the Madison County Conservation Board.
