The free community event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Central States Fairgrounds and will recognize the airmen of Ellsworth Air Force Base and soldiers of the South Dakota National Guard for their service and commitment to the nation and the Black Hills community.

Public Informational Meeting Planned for Reconstruction Project on Interstate 90 at Piedmont

Crews are currently building the new eastbound ramps at exit 46 and are also working along Elk Creek Road and Sturgis Road. The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will hold a public informational meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. (MT) for this reconstruction project.
