Have you ever used a typewriter?
Never had one.
How is social media changing news?
Do we even know what qualifies as "news" these days. I might sound obnoxious, but social media has altered our understanding of news.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Via Email. 2-3 Paragraphs at least.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Google Docs.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes. Was part of the editorial board and was later promoted to editor-in-chief. Proofreading, editing, etc.. was my primary responisbility.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Between 3PM - 8PM
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Reading a book, researching for my next piece, watching a new indie film, savouring some classic jazz, or enjoying a good cup of coffee.
