Large currency speculators continue to stay upbeat in US dollar futures market
Large currency speculators in the US dollar futures market continues to stay around a 15-month high, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of US dollar index futures, traded by large speculators and hedge funds, totaled a net long position of 13173 contracts in the data reported through July 14, 2026, marking a slight decrease of 96 net positions compared to the previous week.
VA Tech Wabag gains on securing mega order from BWSSB
VA Tech Wabag surged 4.24% to Rs 2,074.85 after it has secured a mega domestic order from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB). The order is for the design, build and operation (DBO) of sewage treatment and tertiary treatment plants in Bengaluru. As per the companys order classification, a Mega domestic order refers to contracts valued above Rs 1,000 crore, while a Mega international order refers to contracts exceeding $150 million.

Net interest income (NII) grew by _ % on YoY basis to Rs 427 crore in Q1 FY27 as against Rs 363 crore in Q1 FY26. Net interest margin (NIM) stood at 2.83% as on 30 June 2026, up 21 basis points YoY. Operating profit for Q1 FY27 rose 15.3% to Rs 354.43 crore from Rs 307.35 crore in Q1 FY26.
