South Shore seafood staple Jordan Lobster Farms has announced reopening plans after a devastating fire that happened during the Saturday dinner rush. The 51-year-old restaurant in Island Park has been closed since June 13, when a fire broke out at 6:48 p.m. and created extensive damage to the roof and an office room, forcing customers to evacuate. No one was injured. The team has been working around the clock to get the restaurant fixed up to reopen July 1, owner Steve Jordan said.

Long Island sushi lovers, here's something to put on your radar. A highly-regarded NYC omakase spot is coming to the Hamptons this summer with a buzzy four-night pop-up. Sushi Koju is an intimate 14-seat omakase experience in the Ace Hotel in Downtown Brooklyn. Chef Kevin Garrison is known for dry aging his fish, which takes out some of the moisture and is said to create a more silken texture.

But now you can get it in a slightly more casual setting at Elisha, the couple's new order-at-the-counter shawarma spot in Great Neck Plaza.
