Before dawn broke over Brooklyn, 13-year-old Susan 'Su' Adegoke would often be dropped off at a rugby field hours before training began. With her divorced parents both working full-time, it was the only way she could continue playing the sport she loved. It could be scary too. Tears of joy ran down his face as he embraced his father, alongside his long-time masseuse and fitness coach, in the glass-walled court. However, all around them in Cairo, there was silence. The capacity crowd, so often a roaring presence, sat stunned.
