Fantasy Football Kicker Rankings & Waiver Wire Pickups (Week 6)
With 5 weeks in the books, I thought I would start this week’s article with a brief review of some interesting stats and surprising bust performances. To kick things off, Spencer Shrader of the Colts has 58 points through five games, putting him on pace for 197 points for the season, which would give him the most kicking points dating back to 2001.
Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Advice: Players to Add, Stash & Drop (Week 6)
The bye weeks provide fantasy football enthusiasts with a stern test of their managerial acumen. We were eased into the NFL’s bye period in Week 5 with a two-team bye week. Things get tougher this week with four teams — the Bengals, Lions, Dolphins, and Vikings — on hiatus. Before we get to the most attractive options on the waiver wire this week, a reminder that our threshold for inclusion in this article is sub-50% rostership in Yahoo leagues.
Fantasy Football Kicker Rankings & Waiver Wire Pickups (Week 4)
If you ask 100 fantasy football managers who led the league in fantasy kicker points per game in 2025, I would venture to guess at least 80 of them would say Brandon Aubrey or Jason Myers. Fantasy Football Kicker Rankings & Waiver Wire Pickups (Week 3)
Two weeks of action is too small a sample size to identify who might be this year’s breakout kicker and who should be relegated to the waiver wire in hopes of finding a spark for your team. I prefer to get four weeks of action in the books before making a change at kicker, as even the top projected players can get off to a slow start. If you drafted a top-5 ranked kicker based on ADP, chances are you are having a bit of buyer’s remorse right now.
Fantasy Football Kicker Rankings & Waiver Wire Pickups (Week 2)
Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season was full of surprising performances and fantasy football outcomes, including the Bears and Panthers setting an NFL opening-week record for 96 combined points in the first game of a season. Derrick Henry continues to be immortal, Josh Allen made a statement in his defense of the NFL MVP, and the Cardinals pulled off an improbable road upset of the Los Angeles Chargers, winning the NFL head-coaching debut for Mike LaFleur.
Fantasy Football Kicker Rankings & Start/Sit Advice (Week 1)
The 2026 NFL season kicks off soon with the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks hosting the New England Patriots. In that matchup, 2025 kicker MVP Jason Myers looks to continue his fantasy football dominance, in which he edged out Brandon Aubrey and Ka’imi Fairbairn as the No. 1 overall player at the position.

Fantasy Football Devy Spotlight & College Football Picks (2025)
Week 7 delivers a heavyweight Big Ten showdown as Curt Cignetti’s Indiana Hoosiers travel west to face the third-ranked Oregon Ducks in Autzen Stadium. Both teams boast top-10 rankings on offense and defense, and both have quarterbacks firmly in the Heisman Trophy conversation. With red-zone execution bordering on perfection on both sides, this matchup promises fireworks from start to finish — a true litmus test for Indiana’s rise and Oregon’s playoff ambitions.

Opinion: What a Conservative Supermajority Could Mean for America
Andrew J. Swanson · Follow 7 min read · -- With the 2024 election in the rearview mirror, Donald Trump and his allies are now poised to wield an unprecedented level of control in Washington. With a conservative supermajority across the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, Trump and his MAGA-aligned base hold a degree of power that could reshape the nation in profound ways.
Opinion: How Right-Wing Voters Are Embracing a Reality of Perception Over Fact
Andrew J. Swanson · Follow 6 min read · -- In the lead-up to the 2024 election, right-wing voters in America seem to be more invested in a perception of reality crafted by political rhetoric than by hard facts. From the economy to immigration, the narrative spun by conservative media and Republican leaders often diverges from measurable realities. The result is a voter base that prioritizes narrative over data, turning political issues into emotionally charged, fact-resistant beliefs.
Title: The 2024 Election and America’s Disregard for Facts: Where Do We Go from Here?
Andrew J. Swanson · Follow 5 min read · -- The recent election outcome has revealed an unsettling truth about our current political landscape: facts may no longer matter. Voters made choices less influenced by reality and data and more by emotional and ideological loyalty, showing that for a significant portion of the electorate, facts take a backseat to partisan identity.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel: A Life Flight for the Ethanol Industry?
Key Points Over the past decade, demand for corn ethanol has stopped growing, and the prospect of a rapidly expanding electric vehicle fleet has left the ethanol industry struggling to find new markets. Sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) could provide the industry a sizable new market for decades if ethanol can meet the required greenhouse gas emissions standards.
Alternative Land-Use Impacts of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Grand Challenge: Corn Ethanol vs. Soybean Oil Pathways
Key Points The Biden administration, with bipartisan support, has set a goal of increasing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production from 16 million gallons today to three billion gallons by 2030. Producing three billion gallons of sustainable aviation fuel would require the use of between eight and 11 million acres of corn or 35 and 50 million acres of soybeans, depending on how rapidly crop yields increase over the next six years.
