Overvalued Fantasy Football Draft Picks to Avoid on ESPN (2026)

I’ve broken down overvalued players in ESPN average draft position (ADP) two times already this offseason. But things change fast in the fantasy football world. One of the players I featured just last month — Malik Nabers — has actually switched from being overvalued to undervalued when comparing his ESPN ADP to expert consensus rankings (ECR). To be fair, the rest are still consistently overdrafted, so I do recommend at least glancing at those old lists.

I’ve already looked at some of the best fantasy football values on ESPN this offseason… twice. All of the players featured in those articles are still ranked higher in the FantasyPros’ expert consensus rankings (ECR) than in ESPN average draft position (ADP). However, those pieces focused on rankings and ADP from June and July, the very early parts of the fantasy calendar. Now, we’re in August, aka peak drafting season.
