Darren Osborne, accused of deliberately driving his van into a group of Muslim men in Finsbury Park last year, has been found guilty of murder and attempted murder. Osborne gave no reaction as the verdicts were read out.
The operator repeatedly says “hello” until Mr Mohammed responds. He says “a big van just ran over everyone.”
The court has just been played a 999 call. Witness Adnan Mohammed is asking for an ambulance to help a man who has collapsed. As he is giving the details to the operator he is struck by the van. A loud noise is heard on the tape followed by sounds of shouting.
Mr Osborne was wrestled to the ground where he was heard to say “I’ve done my job, you can kill me now”. He was described as “constantly smiling”.
