Dr. Ali Ling, assistant professor of civil engineering and water expert at the University of St. Thomas, has published findings on the regulation of forever chemicals in water supplies across Europe in Nature Water. Per- and polyfluoroalkyls substances, or PFAS, include substances such as PFOS, PFOA, and TFA and accumulate in our environment and water supplies.

The University of St. Thomas has experienced many changes over the last 141 years. What started with a few small seminary buildings grew to the Kasota stone campus of today. Within the walls of the university's buildings, on the lawns of its quads and on the streets that define its campuses, lives a breadth of stories and experiences unique to the Tommie community.

Manjeet Rege, director of the Center for Applied AI at the University of St. Thomas, recently spoke to Minnesota industry leaders about artificial intelligence. Rege also collaborated with Jena Zangs, St. Thomas’ chief data and AI officer, to present at two Gartner Leadership Summits.
