1 Introduction Benzodiazepines have long played an important role in anaesthetic practice, with midazolam traditionally being the preferred agent. Remimazolam, an ultrashort-acting benzodiazepine, has recently been introduced as an alternative for procedural sedation and general anaesthesia.

Early detection and adherence to treatment guidelines can significantly reduce CRC mortality [1].

Both physical and psychological factors contribute to the severity of pain perception during labor [2]. Each birth experience is unique, and women have varying pain thresholds as well as preferences concerning pain management during labor [3].
