1. Introduction Constructing a heterojunction between two semiconductors is one of the most desired ways to obtain efficient photocatalysts [ 1 ]. Heterojunctions are formed when two semiconductors that possess different energy band structures are brought into contact, resulting in an electric field at the interface due to the spontaneous diffusion of electrons between the semiconductors [ 2 , 3 , 4 ].
