A 78-year-old woman is in critical condition after an alleged assault near Surrey Central Station on Tuesday (July 28). The woman was walking just outside the station around 3 p.m. when a man “walked up behind her and allegedly aggressively shoulder-checked her as he passed,” Metro Vancouver Transit Police said Wednesday (July 29). The woman fell and hit her head on a concrete wall and the pavement.
