Anna Challet is a general assignment reporter with a focus on health care, public health, and issues local to San Francisco. She has also written about child welfare and juvenile justice; housing and homelessness; and criminal justice, education, and immigration reform. Her stories have been published in more than 50 ethnic and community news publications and she is a contributor to Boom: A Journal of California. She also conducts storytelling and reporting workshops with underserved youth. She is currently a reporting fellow with the USC Annenberg Center for Health Journalism. A native of San Francisco, she is a former high school English teacher and completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard.
