Artists and Fleas has become an IRL and Instagram destination for those who love to discover what’s next in indie design, so it’s not surprising that their new outpost happens to be in a former sewing factory. Setting up shop on the ground floor of techie favorite 568 Broadway (ZocDoc and Foursquare are upstairs tenants), the market has been carefully curated to showcase the very best in local merchants and independent design.
My boyfriend Steve and I stood, naked, hands on our hips and stared hopelessly at our hire car, its back wheels buried into about a foot-and-a-half of sand.
