Report by Anna Youssef New figures show a record number of potential slavery victims were referred to Greater Manchester Police last year. The Modern Slavery and Human Rights Policy and Evidence Centre said the statistics show the "harsh reality" of modern slavery with thousands of people trapped and exploited in harsh conditions. People like “Philip” who now lives in a North West safe house  run by the Salvation Army for survivors of modern slavery.

Video report by Granada Reports correspondent Anna Youssef More than 700,000 people are looking after a relative with dementia. Many of those feel they have no where to turn when their loved one puts themselves or others at risk of harm. Dementia can affect a person’s ability to manage their reactions to difficult thoughts and feelings. This can lead to them experiencing such intense states of distress that they become verbally or physically aggressive.

A special report by ITV Granada Reports journalist Anna Youssef. School hasn't always been a happy place for Sophia Wilkinson. The transition from primary to secondary was difficult. Diagnosed with autism she struggled to fit in and her attendance plummeted. Sophia, said: "I had meltdown after meltdown. They tried to get me back into school so I could have an education but I would just scream and cry because I didn't want to go back. "It would put an extreme anxiety in my head.
