The SEM images of the positive AC and LiCoO electrodes are presented in Fig. 2. It can be observed that the AC electrode shows an irregular shape with sharp edges of the particle sizes ~1–3??m. And the LiCoO particles with a particle size ~1?um were covered by carbon black. Figure 3 exhibits the XRD pattern of different electrodes. As mentioned above, the negative and positive electrodes are supported on copper and aluminum, respectively. Strong Al and Cu characteristic peaks can be found from Fig. 3.
