Interview
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes, once. It made me appreciate the backspace key.
What's your favorite social network?
Honestly, whichever platform still allows nuance.
Who do you wish followed you?
I don’t really care about being followed. I just hope something I write makes someone feel understood.
Why did you become a journalist?
I’m not a traditional journalist. I write about psychology, relationships, emotional resilience, and human behavior through observation, lived experience, and reflection.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Probably “Psychological Barriers to Vulnerability.” It came from observing how many people deeply want connection while also fearing emotional exposure at the same time.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don’t focus only on sounding intelligent or professional. Focus on noticing things honestly and writing them clearly. People connect more with truth than performance.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Afternoons work best. I appreciate clear and thoughtful pitches.
What's your favorite drink?
green tea
