It may seem strange to call a movie from 2005 a classic, but at this point, it’s more than 20 years old. The same is true for music. Songs that came out in 2000, such as Linkin Park’s “Crawling” or Papa Roach with “Last Resort,” could really be called classic today, and they’ve even made their way onto some “classic” rock radio stations that are billed as the new generation of classic rock. So, yes, a piece of art that came out of 2005 can be called a bit classic. That’s the case with films, too.
