I was a news cadet & unofficial animal correspondent (frog on a snake, rooftop cows, fainting kittens) at ninemsn.com.au
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Macbook, Google Docs, Android mobile phone, Feedly, Tweetdeck, O-transcribe, Wunderlist, Evernote
Why did you become a journalist?
Because it's a good way to meet interesting people and get paid to tell their stories.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Get as much internship experience before you graduate. Hopefully more roles you try (radio, tv etc), will help you figure out your calling.
