Slidell Heritage Festival June 27, Heritage Park, Slidell Music, vendors, games, kid's zone and fireworks. $15 for adults, 12 and under free. City Park 3rd of July Celebration July 3rd, New Orleans City Park's Great Lawn The festivities begin at 6pm with music by the Marine Forces Reserve Band and culminates with fabulous fireworks atop the Peristyle at 9pm. Free.
