Just over a year after opening a new San Ramon headquarters for its digital unit, GE Digital, General Electric is working to articulate its vision for the 'industrial Internet' through a string of startup acquisitions this week.
Coinciding with its annual Minds + Machines event in San Francisco, GE announced on Monday and Tuesday that it is buying three startups this week across the software and data analytics verticals, two of which are based in the Bay Area.
