Hardworking volunteers have reconstructed an important bridge across a former waterway. The impressive new structure will eventually provide access to a recreation of how the Wilts & Berks Canal would have looked in the nineteenth century. The red-brick bridge stands at the top of Pewsham Locks in the countryside on the edge of Chippenham.

The UK’s largest contemporary choir came to Wiltshire and Somerset ten years ago, so it’s time to celebrate! Rock Choir members, known as the Rockies, from Trowbridge, Frome, Warminster, Westbury, Melksham and Chippenham will be uniting in an epic theatre show at Wiltshire Music Centre on Saturday 12th September. With over 200 choir members performing Pop and Rock Classics, a special celebration of the founding choir members and an incredible acoustic section, this show is one not to be missed.
