Anthony Alaniz’s Biography
In May 2012, Car and Driver partnered with YouTube to create a premium content channel. When I was brought onto the project, I had the responsibility of managing the Car and Driver brand on YouTube, managing search engine optimization (SEO), writing video titles and descriptions, creating social media posts and building an engaging community. In September 2012, I gained the responsibility, and autonomy, to oversee the direction of the channel’s social media and blogger outreach campaigns, and place valued input vital to the channel’s long-term viability.
I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in August 2012 with a Bachelor's of Science in journalism with a minor in creative writing. During my time there, I contributed to the school newspaper, 'The Eastern Echo.' I've also written for High Gear Media, Inc., focusing on automotive news and technology.
