What was your first job as a journalist?
Host and Executive Producer of my podcast, The Anthony Miragliotta Show, which I launched two months after graduating from college.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I use a variety of tools: Canva, WordPress, StreamYard, Spotify for Creators, and Adobe, just to name a few.
What's your favorite social network?
Instagram 100%! It was the first social media platform I created an account on. Follow me at anthonymiragliotta.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not work for my high school newspaper but as a staff writer for my college newspaper, The Ramapo News.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I provided additional reporting for an exclusive New York Post swing state 2024 piece for National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I prefer early morning but any time of the day works for me.
What's your favorite drink?
Water. (Yes, call me lame LOL)
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Either at an Italian festival, a brewery, or rooting for my favorite sports teams!
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I prefer reading independent journalists since they offer the best cutting-edge reporting.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
The world of politics and government can be dirty, yes, but it is a lot of fun to report on!
