Chad Gable is going to SummerSlam. Tonight’s episode of Raw featured a big #1 contender’s gauntlet match to determine the challenger for the Intercontinental Champion Penta at the upcoming PPV. Dominik Mysterio and Joe Hendry started the bout. Dirty Dom got the first pin in the match as he eliminated Hendry with some help from JD McDonagh. The Judgment Day star was then eliminated by Je’Von Evans however, when Danhausen showed up and made a ringpost explode.

Elias has reflected on one of his most famous segments. The former WWE star was involved in a segment with Kevin Owens during a Raw episode from Seattle back in October 2018. Talking about John Cena teaming with Bobby Lashley for a match against them, the wrestling star said that it didn’t make sense, just like having a basketball team in Seattle. The one line led to one of the strongest negative reactions from the crowd in WWE history, with the boos from fans lasting several minutes.

Even AJ Styles makes mistakes. The Phenomenal One defended his US Championship against Kevin Owens at the 2017 Battleground PPV. The ending of the match saw the champion locking Owens in a crossface, which Kevin countered into a successful pin attempt. Many wondered at the time if that was the original finish to the bout. During the latest episode of his Phenomenally Retro podcast, the former World Champion confirmed this suspicion.
