Cell-Free DNA Screening During Pregnancy
To the Editor Drs Allyse and Wick1 reviewed noninvasive prenatal genetic screening using cell-free DNA (cfDNA). We have concerns about some of their statements about the use of cfDNA screening and are disappointed that disparities in access were not discussed in greater detail.
Curbing Unnecessary and Wasted Diagnostic Imaging

As riders shake their heads in despair or disgust, a one-legged woman in a wheelchair starts rolling down the center of the car asking for a bit of money. Later, a shirtless, barefooted man in ragged jeans enters the car, pleading for something to eat. No, I’m not painting some macabre scene of an earlier time in New York City life.
