Arvind Chauhan is a multi-beat reporter at The Times Of India. He began his career in Lucknow, and has done reporting in West Uttar Pradesh. He has won the Times Scribe Award twice for busting fake news, and extensive coverage on Covid orphans. He graduated with a journalism degree from Times School of Journalism and BA (Honors) in English from Lucknow University.

I managed to get hold of first executive officer (XO), the last Captain and other crew members of the INS Gomati, which was decommissioned on May 28, 2022, after 34 years of service. They are all currently based in various parts of India. After speaking on phones for hours with the veteran and officers, two untold stories of INS Gomati were published days before the frigate's decommissioning.
