Thorough researching, a deep involvement with the community and other writers, and writing in a way that grips the reader.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Usually through e-mail, and I appreciate a through content outline for what the finished piece would look like
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Google Docs, GPT-4 (for research at times), Canva, Photoshop, Grammarly, Hemmingway.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
It was a mouse review for the Dream Machines DM6 Holey Trio. I love finding underrated tech and showing it off to a larger audience.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Read, read, read. And when you're done reading, write. Diversify your information sources and be open to multiple perspectives.

"How iOS is simply better than Android" You can't make sweeping statements like that as there's always nuance to the story. It was biased.

That tech writing is all about just looking at numbers and specs. You need a deep understanding of a product's philosophy to cover it properly.
