Rendering provided by Hector Molina Fayetteville State University's eating options are expanding with the opening of a new food truck hub. The hub, named “The Shoe,” aims to enhance the dining experience for students, faculty and staff. It can accommodate up to six food trucks daily, with one being an FSU-run truck. The Shoe will have a soft opening on Monday, Sept. 21. Students will be able to use their meal plan to purchase food from the trucks.

Equipped with high‑zoom and thermal imaging, the drone helps first responders quickly locate missing people, read fire hotspots, scout dangerous structures and document accident scenes from above. Its rapid mapping and real-time aerial views give public safety teams a clearer, safer picture of unfolding emergencies than ground-level perspectives alone.
