With the fall semester already halfway over, a familiar cloud looms over campus... course registration. For many, this isn't the first rodeo, but for newer students (or those looking for new tips), here are a few of my personal tips to help you get the classes you want, or at least survive the process from someone who's survived a whole year of course registrations.

Springfest is one of the most anticipated events of the year at Colgate, with students eagerly awaiting the fun activities it offers. However, this year, the selection process for the headlining artist took an unexpected turn, leading to last-minute changes and plenty of speculation. Back in mid-December, the Colgate Office of Student Involvement (OSI) announced that the indie-pop band “COIN” would be performing at Springfest.

2025 has officially arrived! As we enter the new year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the fashion trends that defined 2024. styles from the ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s  have made a bold comeback, so let’s look at the most popular trends that took the fashion world by storm. To much surprise, the infamous bubble skirts have come back. Originally popularized in the 1980s, and revived in the early 2000s, has been brought back to life.
