Quincy is continuing on his tour of Virginia, and this time he has found himself at Kiptopeke State Park! There is so much to do at the Park including crabbing, fishing, trails and bird watching! Kiptopeke is located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in Cape Charles, right on the Chesapeake Bay. The Bay is used for many things, like transportation by water. But it is also really important to marine life! It provides a great safe haven for marine life who need a bit of a break from the ocean.

It’s been awhile since Quincy attempted to qualify at a job that wasn’t his, but this time he is at a AAA Car Care Center. After a little mixup about which job he’s trying to qualify for, he suits up to learn how to be a AAA Technician! First, he learns how to drain the oil. After he drains it, he replaces the drain plug- and he actually looks like a professional doing it! Next, he drains the oil filter. He then replaces it, and fills up the car with brand new oil.

Summertime has arrived! That means more vehicles on the road, which unfortunately means more car crashes. Our friend Camila Barco from the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles joined the ladies to talk about staying safe on our roadways this Summer. The single most effective way to protect yourself and everyone else in your vehicle in the event of a crash, is to wear your seatbelt!! Seatbelts save lives every day, and about 15,000 per year in the United States alone.
