1 Issues With Ergonomics in Surgery The negative impact of suboptimal operative ergonomics on the longevity and well-being of surgeons is well established [1, 2]. Poor ergonomics can result in musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries, clinically relevant pain, fatigue, and increased burn-out, and result in early retirement [2-6].

1 Background A diagnosis of Lynch Syndrome (LS) has significant implications for surgical management and surveillance. As our understanding of the genetic basis of the condition expands, so should our capacity to tailor surgical options, always keeping the patient at the center.
