GM Defense today completed the first delivery of the Infantry Squad Vehicle to the Army at Milford Proving Ground, MI, as part of a $214 million contract. The ISV is a light all-terrain troop carrier that can transport a nine-soldier infantry squad and its equipment. Under the contract awarded in June, GM Defense will build 649 ISVs. The total planned quantity is 2,065 vehicles over eight years with additional authorization, according to the company.
