A randomized parent‐mediated physical activity intervention for autistic children
Data collection We used the Test of Gross Motor Development-3 (TGMD-3) (Ulrich, 2017) to assess children's FMS. The TGMD-3 examines 13 gross motor skills divided into two subsections (a) locomotor and (b) ball skills. This assessment has been used with autistic children ages 10 to 16 (Case & Yun, 2018). The has been found to have acceptable validity and reliability when measuring motor skills on autistic children (Breslin & Rudisill, 2011). The breaks down each skill into 3 to 5 criteria.
