Discussion According to our findings, 62.8% of individuals adhered to the option B+PMTCT medication, with a 95% CI ranging from 55.4% to 68.6%. This finding is consistent with research from studies conducted in America,25Zambia%26 and Kenya,27 which reported adherence rates of 65%, 70.5% and 61.9% to option B+medication, respectively. This could be because the study population, consisting of breastfeeding mothers, was similar across the studies.
