A 69-year-old woman with a medical history of hypothyroidism presented to the emergency department with shortness of breath and a cough lasting 3 months. Computed tomography (CT) of the chest revealed a right paratracheal mass extending into the endotracheal lumen, causing near-total occlusion (Figure 1A). Rigid bronchoscopy demonstrated a mid-tracheal mass causing approximately 80% airway obstruction (Figure 1B).
