Atika Sayeed’s Biography

I'm a journalist, researcher, and communications professional based in New Delhi. My work focuses on public health, education, gender, politics, and marginalized communities, with a particular interest in stories that are often overlooked or underreported. I've reported for The Wire, Feminism in India, Maktoob Media, TwoCircles.net, PARI, and other independent publications.

Alongside reporting, I currently work as a Hindi Community Moderator at Youth Ki Awaaz, where I support audience engagement and community-building initiatives. I also work with Project Otenga as a Research Associate and Social Media Manager, contributing to research, communication strategy, social media management, food and design-related projects, and large-scale cultural events.

I work in both Hindi and English and enjoy combining field reporting, research, and public engagement to tell stories that connect policy, culture and everyday life.
