A local running event staple is back in the Northland. Giving kids a chance to run each week. A summer staple is back in the Northland with Wednesday Night at the Races presented by the Young Athletes Foundation. It’s free and open for all kids ages 14 and under to get out and run. Races start at 6 p.m. each Wednesday night and are split into age groups, with the youngest going first.

Yin and Yang are Good Morning Northland's Pets of the Week with Animal Allies Yin and Yang are Good Morning Northland’s Pets of the Week with Animal Allies! They are two 9 year old cats that have been at the shelter since July 1st. They are looking for a new home together. Staff say they are best friends and can frequently be seen snuggling up with each other.

Patrick is our Animal Allies Pet of the Week! Patrick is Good Morning Northland’s Pet of the Week with Animal Allies! He is a new puppy at the shelter. He’s looking for a home to help him grow into the best dog he can be! Staff describe him as playful, curious, and cuddly! His ideal family would be dedicated to all the proper steps of puppy socialization. Ensuring he is getting positive reinforcement, and basic training.
