Fox delivers best MLB All-Star Game audience since 2018

Fox on Tuesday from Philadelphia had its best audience for the MLB All-Star Game since 2018, drawing 8.8 million viewers in English and Spanish (Fox Deportes drew 119,000 viewers). The combined audience tops the 8.85 million for the 2018 All-Star Game in D.C. This year’s game had a lead-in from the Spain-France FIFA World Cup semifinal postgame show (plus the All-Star pregame show). The pregame show for the MLB event drew 4.1 million viewers, which is the best for that program since 2018.

NBC had one of its few WNBA games on Sunday night last weekend with Fever-Aces, which averaged 2.64 million viewers for the second-best WNBA regular-season game since 2000. It’s also the best WNBA audience this season to date and the best WNBA regular-season Sunday audience since 1998. NBC’s four WNBA games have averaged 1.5 million viewers this year, the network’s first season with the league since 2002.
